A lot of classical forms of Bangladeshi dance are popular and dominate the sub-continent. These include folk and tribal as well as Middle Eastern styles that are very common in traditional weddings. From these tribal dances some of the most popular ones are the Monipuri and Santal styles. It is not uncommon for rural girls to dance to these styles without any rules or regulations.
